Yes, the Metastock equity curve is amazing,
but just consider it an Equis Halloween prank.
You see the troughbars function returns the lowest or highest
bar location using zig zag AFTER the CHANGE (in your case 3%)
is CONFIRMED.
(In other words, you have to have foreknowledge of the markets.)
The swing hi swing low functions might be relevant if this is
not a prank. Also see www.insideedgesystem.com utilities for
picking up a divergence.
