Gary, this is a common problem when the TS2K sever shuts down abnormally (ie
caused by GP etc.) Depending on how many symbols you have in your portfolio
it can take awhile to start back up. For example, I have 618 total symbols
in my server and it takes about an 30 minutes to an hour for the event log
tab to initialize after an abnormal shutdown. I've talked to Omega tech
about it and they tell me there's nothing that can be done. Maybe someone
has a work around.

We had a power failure last night that lasted longer than my UPS
could handle. When I brought my system up this morning, I can't
start the Global Server, either online or offline. It hangs in
"Opening EventLog Tab." Any guesses?
