Comments Survey : Trading Approach , Which produces better Results ?

Please pass comment which produces better results to the PROFIT Line. 

1) SPECIALISE YOUR SKILLS TO ONE : Use a trading system or other tools on one
security , like Emini ?
2) SPECIALISE ON A FEW : Monitor 4 to 8 Securities via system or other
technical tools ?
3) WIDER MONITOR : Monitor 15 to 50 securities (futures, stocks, whatever) for
technical or news or whatever fits your trading setups ?
4) FULL MONITOR : Run SCANS on 100 to 400 stocks for trading setups (like
ESignal Scan / Advance GEt Scan / Pro Suite Scan ) ?

I have heard that 80% to 90% of those who trade the EMini soley or (one
Security) go broke within 6 months....so those of you who make $200K USD or
more please advise best securty data pool ?
