For lack of better ideas, have you actually called Omega and ask
for the magic file?
If Omega is unresponsive, you need to edit the registry and clear
out the settings.
This can be complex.
Get a book and a friend who has experience.
Call Omega and find out what to look for in the registry.
Most Omega stores something on HKEY setting.
Don't guess, ask Omega.
An alternate is to back up your machine, reinstall Win2K.
Do a clean install and say NO to preserving old settings.
If you have 30 applications on your box, you could be there all
day, reinstalling,
so this is a last resort fix.
Assuming you cleared the registry and updated Win2K (or just
reinstalled)
install SP4 then SP5. You need to run the post install floppy
--whatever
they have on it seems necessary.
