They are a London based firm. Well-capitalized, better-known for their
managed funds and institutional trading divisions. I believe their retail is
less than 10% of their business. They are big in Cocoa at each end.
The retail has a small group of guys who have been around awhile, but things
get done slowly for your average retail client. I know...I used to work for
them on the floor and later upstairs on the retail side.
Their rates are low for e-contracts and they have several platforms. They do
not support Patsystems very well from what I have heard from clients and
other traders.
If you go with Man, Price Goup does a pretty good job as an IB.
Overall, very similar to trading with Refco.
