PaintBars; Color and Sound

A friend has a PaintBar study that has two occasional "glitches"; frankly
solutions have both of us stumped.

1)  A 2Ki PaintBar study has a line for PlaySound.  Usually, the study's
sound will be heard when the PaintBar changes color at the bar's close.  On
occasion, the sound will be heard BEFORE the close and/or the current bar
will NOT change color.  Any ideas?

2)  A 2Ki PaintBar code is written so that, theoretically, the bar will
change color when the closing price fulfills the study's mathematical
requirements.  On occasion, the bar will change color "intra bar" - that is
before the closing price for the selected compression period occurs - rather
than at the bar's actual close.  Any ideas on this one too?
