You just have to change a driver in the system and reboot. There is nothing
to it.

Subject: Off Topic win 2000
I know this is off topic but....does anyone happen to know the answer.
I suspect I need to build another PC. If I build a dual processor PC and
decide to leave out the second processor for the time being (in the
expectation that it will be cheaper in 3 months), when I upgrade to a second
processor, will win2k recognise it or do I have to change the hardware
abstraction layer et al as in NT?
Many thanks
