unable to buffer incoming data - esignal

I have recently had a problem with 2000i global server. It frequently 
disconnects with my esignal quote service and sends a message such as
event ID 10
unable to buffer incoming data. input buffer overflow.

It only seems to happen when 2000i is open. The global server seems to run 
ok when it is closed. Can anyone help?
