I have a strange issue with the orderbar in TS6 that I’m hoping someone
out there can help me overcome. The orderbar randomly disconnects from
the tradeserver – the only way to reconnect it is to take TS6 offline
and then bring it back online. With 100 different windows open in
multiple workspaces, this can be a little inconvenient. And, of course,
it makes it impossible to run automated strategies with any degree of
reliability without a human in front of the computer at all times.
Note that when the orderbar disconnects, the rest of Tradestation keeps
going - i.e.: the charts, news, quotes etc is still connected to the TS6
servers. All of my other internet related connections are ok as well –
IMs, IRC etc are fine. Only the orderbar in TS6 gets disconnected.
Any help appreciated.

PS: Hardware: Dell 1.2 Ghz, 512 Megs RAM, Windows XP Professional,
Verizon DSL (> 1 Meg actual throughput), DSL Gateway has a dedicated IP
address though workstation uses DHCP.
