traders2traders.com has been upgraded to include a number of suggestions
I've received. Here are the changes, and an intro of what's still to come.
It's now easier to publish. From the link on the top menu on the home page
you can enter info and upload files from one screen. For larger files or
many files anonymous FTP is still available at upload.traders2traders.com.
List serving is now available. HYPERLINK
"mailto:traders@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" traders@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is a site
list to which announcements of new links and postings will be sent. It's
also a listserver. There isn't any strict focus of the list as that is
expected to evolve. SIG lists maybe requested by emailing HYPERLINK
"mailto:support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The site has been somewhat re-categorized based on its use. The main change
(in this area) is to categorize information by major tools that traders use.
For example, TradeStation users rarely look at anything that doesn't relate
to TradeStation. Metastock users don't look at much at all (at the site).
I'd appreciate any comments of mis-categorized posts or links. New
categories are also being added. The first new category is for Zacks users.
Some categories that seem to have been "useless" have been removed.
"Brokers" for example, isn't there any longer.
Still to come, shortly: "Cooperative buying." With most vendors being
amenable to discounting their prices for larger transactions, traders
joining together to make a simultaneous purchase of the same software, data,
or service, presents an opportunity to benefit from significant savings.
I'll soon launch this service, and from discussions I've had with some
vendors expect significant savings. It'll kind of be a mixture of reverse
auction and price voting, online. For more info please discuss cooperative
buying on HYPERLINK "mailto:traders@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
traders@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Just in case anyone jumps to an incorrect
conclusion, this isn't a money-making strategy! Simply, it's intended to
help traders save.
