I just finished studying the C Language and going into C++. Well, I
can go directly to C# but I just bought "Building Financial Derivatives
Application for C++" by Robert Brooks and the book uses Borland's C++
Builder 3.0 as his examples. Well, you might think so what but even though
I am now able to interpret a C written program, when it comes to creating an
application, I need to have some hands-on experience. I thought having the
book would be great for that.
That is why I'm looking for a Borland C++ Builder 3.0 or better.
Anyone have this software? I tried downloading a version from Borland
website but it seems to be a Command-line tool which isn't great for
following the book's example. I have the Visual C++ but some of the headers
in the books aren't in the VC++. Because I am not planning on going through
C++ tutorial books, it'll be harder for me to use another software to
compile the examples. I just need to get the feel of how the C++ works,
then I can concentrate on the C# through tutorial books and rewriting the
C++ codes that I write from the book to C#. As some of you may know, C# is
the new version of the C Language family which is based on C++ and Java with
MS's .NET technology. So as I mentioned above, I just need to get the feel
of C++.
I really need the full software. Anyone got one? Also, if you have
any suggestions about the programming matter, please send and feedback...
it's very appreciating.
