Indicator value in RadarScreen

I have a couple of exponential moving averages in a custom indicator; one
for 9-period volume and the other, 9-period highest close of 2 bars.  My
template chart is setup to load 500 5-minute bars.  So all the symbols in
the RadarScreen is also compressed to 5 minutes.  After inserting the custom
indicator in RadarScreen, I formatted it (for all symbols) to load 500 bars
(which hogs up resources) and then following the instruction in 'Help',
changed it to load 41 bars.  Value remains same for both settings in
RadarScreen.  But the problem is the value of the indicator in RadarScreen,
though close, is not equal to the value of the same indicator in a 5 minute
chart.
Is there something I am missing or is this pretty much it?!
By the way some indicators do match exactly, for example the built in 'Mov
Avg 2 Lines' and it does not require loading any additional bars in
RadarScreen.

ps: Is there any similar (to RadarScreen) product in the market that works
better??
