John O.:
what do you mean by "flicker off and on"? Do you mean your screen has a very
slow refresh rate, such as 60 Hz, or is it only in your TS2Ki screen. Do other
apps have this problem? The simplest way to find your refresh rate is to find
it on your monitor. With my monitor, all I do is look in my monitor menu
through the front buttons. My Panasonic monitor calls it "Disp. Freq" and it
is called "fV: 85.0 Hz". Please report back your vertical display frequency.
In order for your display to be flicker free on conventional CRT (tube)
monitors, you should have a refresh rate of 85 Hz. If you have LCD monitors,
you probably won't be able to change your refresh rate. LCD monitors typically
have a refresh rate of 60 Hz although, from what I understand, you're not
supposed to notice it.
