The old lady bought 100 shares.
Boring background story:
A salesman for an odd kind of fruit preserves went to visit his best
performing supermarket where the sales had suddenly dropped to nothing. He
asked the manager for the reason, and was told "The old lady died".
The fruit preserves market was thin :-)
