Hi RMaseri,
Please do not let responses such as this (see below) intimidate and
discourage you or anybody who is just trying to explore the logic and
formulas behind proprietary systems. There is nothing illegal about it and
the law protects intellectual property (of this type) only to the extent of
the method of doing business if that method is well patented. Also the law
prohibits any type of reverse engineering proprietary systems if and only if
the proprietary system itself is being used as a resource for the reverse
engineering process. Formulas and pure algorithms (example 1+2=3,
e=m(c)square, etc.) can never be patented as it was determined long time ago
that such patents could potentially hinder research and development and
science and technology.
Therefore please keep in mind when you receive such discouraging responses,
that these are only one of the following:
a) A reckless or immature remark or,
b) A desperate effort being made to keep systems from being explored by the
public.
