Anyone knows how TS is looking up symbols from universe.mdb? As to why a
symbol's number cannot be found, but zero is returned when running the
"CommodityNumber" function from EL? Commodity in question, among some
others, is "S" - Soybeans, and data format is Metastock/Computrack. Symbol
used in Metastock file is "S__0021N", and so far I have added to the
universe.mdb "S_", "S__", and "S__0021N", but nothing seems to work. Is TS
looking up symbols from universe.mdb by first letters of the symbol, or is
there something more used? I'd like to add whatever is needed to the
database to get the correct commodity number returned, but first I need to
figure out what is it that it wants.
