I downloaded and installed that patch last night via Windows Update without
any problems. But I have experienced that endless loop problem you
described before along with it occasionally downloading at the speed of a
28k modem. In both cases the only solution was just to try again at a later
time.
There are also several Office updates that have been released recently
including a new Installer that Windows Update will not identify/install for
you.
