Re: Motherboards suggestions Now: Hard drive failure

Hi Aaron,

Regardless of the stats... after 2 drive failures in about 5 years, plus an
OS corruption or two on a RAID array, it's just not something I want to
gamble with anymore. The lost time is horrendous.

All my puters are dual hard drives with System Guardian, in addition to tape
backup (plus regular CDROM backup of the "MyFiles" folder in case the house
burns down). The most comforting idea is that I can be back up and running
within seconds instead of hours. That's worth a ton in my book.

Best regards,

Gene Pope
