I would think a separate area for commercial "vendors" might be appropriate.
Traders then could decide whether they want to take a look and make their
own decisions.
By segregating commercial operators, traders then can take full advantage of
the original mission of the site without worry...and commercial operators
would feel comfortable posting their wares without much worry of
recriminination and also not feel the temptation of trying to "insert"
commercial announcements in a non-profit area.
