Fo me, somebody *should* be making money otherwise I cannot depend on them
(I would not fly an airline with volunteer hobbyist pilots). Either UNIX
developers make their money another way (through support, which can be
*much* more costly than off the shelf software), or they are into it for the
the fun of it (in which case they are not dependable, because in a year they
may get bored). Now, I would love for somebody to give me something for
free, all I am saying is I cannot depend on them for the future. It seems
to me that the free-software movement is a stalking horse for the old model
of expensive, customized, mainframe-type software. Gotta go, have a good
