Are TS2000i chart templates portable?

Does anyone know whether TS2000i chart templates can be moved from one
TradeStation installation to another?

I'd like to set up a template that arranges a number of subwindows and
indicators on a chart and then send that template to another
TradeStation user.

Is it legitimate (will it work) to just send the .oct file for the
template?

If this is legitimate under TS2000i, will it also work to send templates
constructed under TS2000i to someone using TradeStation 6?
