First you create a continuous contract symbol, say DSPC. Then you have to
paste in data of the same name DSPC. So you have to rename each of the
actual contracts DSP1Z, DSP1U etc to DSPC before copying them out in order
to paste them into DSPC. You do this one symbol at a time and restore the
name to its old name before going to the next symbol. But before you copy
out, since you cannot have two symbols with the same name, you have to
rename the DSPC contract to another, temporary name. After you finish
copying out, restore the DSPC symbol to its name and paste in. All this
renaming, copying and pasting takes time. You have to keep track of every
step, and back up everything otherwise one slip and you have lost your data.
