Hello List,
I recently installed Win2k as a second OS on a machine with Win98
(2ed). This dual boot arrangement seemed to go fine and I get the
screen that allows me to choose OS. I haven't done much in Win2k yet.
Today when I went to boot in W2k, I got a message saying pci.sys file
is corrupted. It says to type "r" for repair at the first screen but
I can't figure which screen it means. I cannot boot in Win2k. I hit
alt-contr-delete, go back to menu, choose Windows98 and I can boot
there.
any suggestions on how I get in to repair the file? I do have a W98
boot diskette.
thanks.
