eSignal w/Dynastore for TS4

This is my question for those who're using eSignal feed with Dynastore for
TS4.
I'm considering switching from BMI cable to the above.
I was told by one user that when he was opening a closed workspace and the
hour glass was on, during that time the data was not being collected which
was
resulting in gaps. Because of  that, he eventually switched to TS6. It
appeared
having to do with Dynastore because I know that those who're using  eSignal
for TS2000i have no such problems.
Has anybody had the same experience or was it a unique case?
