Some how I simply do not understand this concept of "cost sharing"
Data is a product just like tooth paste. If I buy a tube of tooth paste
should I ask someone to share that cost with me with the understanding
that they would get part of the toothpaste.
Worse is the fact that most data vendors require that you agree to
use this date for yourself and not share with others.
If you need something of this nature then it would seem to me that
you ought to pay for the cost for yourself and not have any of this
dumb "cost sharing".
I have no idea how much money I have/will spend on data but you
can bet every bit of it is worth the price even the $500 or so of
TickData data I got that was so bad nobody could use it.
Stop the BS about "cost sharing"
