Just to second Gary's experiences.
I run Win2k on my trading machine that I never switch off. The
only time I reboot is when I install a service pack, device driver
update or critical update. It has NEVER crashed. I don't even know
if win2k has a "blue screen of death".
Right now, according to my Task Manager display, The System Idle
Process has used 1338:50:15 Cpu time since the last reboot. I run
realtick, ib tws, ie, ts2000i and some custom stuff written in Java.
Every day. No memory or resource leaks, no slowdowns.
