Bob,
You get a lot of bad ticks in DTN satellite as they send all the ticks from the exchange. The bid and ask however never have bad ticks that I have seen. I chart the bid to keep track of bad ticks in charts of the last sale. The bid/ask doesn't change fast like the last sale does but it seems to keep up with price direction very well. I depend on the bid or ask for trading. I use them for entries and exits. Prices seems to be right on. I only watch high volume NASDAQ stocks so I can't tell you about NYSE or AMEX.

Subject: Re: DTN data
Aside from the usual concerns (accuracy, timeliness), I need accurate
bid/ask data for stocks. If anyone has any information about that at DTN,
I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
