I didn't know there was software for that. I always use Excel to
log all my trades and create a Schedule D at the end of the year.
On my Schedule D I simply write "see attachment," attach my Excel
printout, and use one row of Schedule D to summarize the printout.
The IRS has never complained.
Then again, I don't daytrade. My method is probably impractical for
a daytrader.
