There is a wide variance in data feeds providers, but the most
important consideration is the variance in users.
Here are some questions you will need to consider and then weigh
against which data provider wil be best for you.
What time frame do you trade. What is the longest time you can be
data-blind. Will you be running TS on more than one machine with
real-time data. Will you need intra-day refresh and where will you
get it from if you do. Will you need two providers from two different
ticker plants on seperate machines to be your own refresh supplier.
What asset will you be trading. Futures only will mean one provider
is better than another. Stock only, then forget Future source for
example. Will you be trading options. Will you be wanting to track
more than 500 assets?
Others on this list can probably add more questions to consider, but
you now have a begginning.
