I believe that NEW ERA in trading software developing will be
characterized by NEW APPROACH in trading software not like
TradeStation 4.0 or 2000, but different.
Who needs another TradeStation? One can easily get now on the "street"
TS4.0 without security block or TS2k with password "good forever" for
a minimal price.
Field with many mushrooms on it - trading programs, instead of one
big - TradeStation, will grow, but it is at its end. Give or take
couple of years.
New trading software shall have different from "easy language"
mechanism to build indicator or system, different way to display chart
and test strategy and IB like future will be "build in" and standard.
It may not be available to "general loosing public", but it is on its
way.
