X-Fund/O-Fund Shadow Fund Update and Portfolio

The CBOT today announced the contract specifications for the new innovative
X-Funds and I have put a link for the reference guide with that information
on the front page of The Price Group Electronic Trading Division web site,
www.pricegroupetd.com.

Interestingly, the contract specs don't just include CBOT products, but also
products from the CME, NYMEX, NYBOT and KCBOT.

I have secured 5 Shadow X-Funds traders, which I have renamed O-Funds for the
purposes of this shadow exercise. I have also extended an invitation to one
other high profile trader to be a shadow manager. We shall see how he
responds.

The five O-Funds managers are: Mark Brown, Bill Wynne, Barry Viljoen, Bob
Heisler and myself. I will be participating, but doing so with a random
basket picket of futures positions picked out of a box.

My positions for the first practice run are:

Short KCBOT March Wheat
Long March Cotton
Long March Euro Dollar
Short March Copper

Ironically, none of these are CBOT contracts.

I have asked the other shadow O-Funds managers to post their picks tonight.
The official X-funds launch will be on February 1 and at that time we will
pick the first O-Funds in the head to head competition. These first two are
just for practice.

Wish us luck.
