Hello ,
First let me say I appreciate all the online and offline comments from
all of you! It was very interesting seeing what type of
configurations and suggestions came from you all.
I bought all the products for these two machines from
http://www.newegg.com simply because everyone says there the best for
timely shipping ect. i decided i would build two machines with the top
rated motherboards for speed. the Soltek and the Epox ranked pretty
well and the Soyo mother board did also, since I have 4 Soyo's already
and an Abit too I thought I would try something different. The only
other boards I may try sometime soon is the MSI and the Asus . I blew
my 600 dollar budget, but I think I got some screamers.

PS Compaq bombed on my order saying they had no idea when it would
ship so I cancled and will be back on a buying spree again soon. Of
all things monitors are going to be on mylist as well as switches.
I recently tried one of the www.nexland.com products called a Pro800
Turbo which is a switch that supposedly would auo failover two broad
band connections for your network. It failed so I sent it back and am
still looking for an auto fail over device, I was pointed to
www.nat32.com but man they have problems galore! If anyone is
successful in running this software on a dual wan let me know.
also I am eyeing up one of these
http://www.cobalt.com/products/raq/index.html for the web stuff i do
if anyone has any comments or alternates?
have a happy new year all!
