This is complete nonsense. The problems with TS5 are related to the poorly
coded TS5. Bill Gates isn't responsible for all the bugs, Bill and Ralph
Cruz are, and they're also the reason there won't be any more SPs for TS5.
They want to force upgrades so they're not going to finish their software
products anymore, and that's not Gates fault either.
Truth is, if you use enough machine horsepower, ie minimum P4 with 512Mb
RAM and nVidia video with 64Mb, you can overcome most of TS5's performance
limitations and TS5 will run fine on Win98. Of course, there are many
"limitations" not addressed by the OS such as the toolbars disappearing or
doubling, and the QuoteMonitor having different values than the charts, but
those are with us no matter what OS we use.
