Need help removing a virus (not on my computer)

A friend of mine has the  "dwarf4you.exe" or "win32hybris.worm "  Virus, any
suggestions for removing it ? is there a free utility to remove it ?
If anti-virus software needs to be purchased , is there any preference among
Norton and Symantec and McAfee?
Please respond privately to avoid distracting the list.
