The UNFRAG utility works on the 40sig.dat file in TS4 Server/Sig directory.
This is one of the TS4 files that collects ??stuff?? and over time gets very
large. The 40sig.dat file and its index (40sig.idx) took up 10X more HD
space than the rest of TS4 on my system.
There was an extended discussion on the list awhile back about the problems
associated with these files getting too large and how to reduce them. A
listmember, Bob Scott, developed the UNFRAG utility and made it available to
the list. I can't find the email he sent me with the address to download
the program, but if you drop him a note ( RLScott@xxxxxxxx) he can probably
help you out.
It's a neat and easy to use program.
