Hello, I am a new reader of this forum and a new TS2000i user. I appreciate
learning from your experience and knowledge. I would like to share the
following info, which may be useful to some of the readers here.

I have Cox@xxxx High Speed internet using a cable modem. I tried several
different ways to share this access among 2-4 computers. The one that works
well is using a Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL Router, e.g. Model BEFSR41. The
advantages: Low cost $120-150 for the router. No need for extra IP and thus
cost. Very fast. No one computer must be on all the time. Setup fairly
simple.

The most different parts was running cables to different rooms. One of the
ways I tried uses the phone line to avoid this problem, but it's too slow.
Also I sticked with the wired version, not knowing the long-term effect of
the wireless on health at home.

regards,
Carvas
