Yes this is important. Back *everything* up every once in a while and write
it to CD-s so when there is another nasty virus released, or fire in your
office, you need to rebuild only stuff changed after your last full system
backup. RAID or equivalent is convenient, of course, but thanks to its
nature, certain events will harm the original and your precious backup copy
simultaneously.
In the case of fast internet connections, internet-based data storage
facilities may also offer quite safe backup solutions.
