reinstating expired contracts ?

I have received a bad date - 9-05-2011

the morning update ran and the futre date caused the contracts to expire.

I would like to reinstate these contrcts. only a dozen or so ...

1    just a rename leaves the settings ----expired----

2    a copy out can be done but the paste function just brings back the same
expired contract.

any ideas will be apprecitaed
