Jim, this computer is not connected to the internet, and I've had it for
quite along while now, maybe months? The other, internet connected computer,
doesn't have these symptoms (Win98).

Say, makes me realise that Microsoft have done quite well out of me. To
avoid trojans, hackers, viruses, worms, any deficiencies with o.s. loading
etc, I've ended up buying two computer....."reverse Robin Hooding".
