Some more advertising :-) (which seems appropriate given the current topic)

Translating Easy Language to another language is a minor task compared to the
real issue, which is a platform to run the code. This was already brought up
by other posts. Having spent the past 12 years developing a testing
platform, I can personally testify to the scope of software development it
requires.

The controlled introduction for PowerST was first announced to this list in
January 2000. There were some additional posts since then. Things have been
quietly progressing. These posts to the omega list have led to contacts
which have steadily furthered the product introduction.

The PowerST web site is being kept up to date with current status. Since the
controlled introduction pipeline is currently saturated, most of the site is
currently being withheld, but anyone with an interest is welcome to view the
preview information on the web site. Also, anyone interested can subscribe to
an announcement mailing list from the web site.

The response to PowerST by early users and early readers of the full web site
has been extremely positive. Stay tuned! Announcements will be forthcoming.
