Hi Jon,
I have never used the Matrox cards, so I am unable to make many comparisons.
With regard to different resolutions on each monitor attached to the MX
TwinView card - you can ONLY do this if you're using WIN98 or ME.
Unfortunately, Windows 2000 requires the same resolution for multi-monitors
when run from a single chip video-card.
(I presume Matrox cards are dual chipset PCI cards which enable them to get
round this Win2K limitation).
Apart from that, I think they both have the usual Cloning, Horizontal and
Vertical spanning features.
