files downloaded and saved to ftp server directory on same of
different machine on local or remote server. then the client ts4
running off line mode can access the data files if the files are on a
local network or across the internet if a virtual private network. ts4
can also access the files remotly if the files are first donnloaded on
a timed schedule via ftp client and saved on the local client or a
computer that can access to files on a local network.
really it's easy, to find the files the neat part is the omega updater
which closes the workspaces down and reopens them to refresh the data.
as has been mentioned before the performance strictly depends upon
what you are doing. but without the overhead of the server running,
the screens on ts4 flash open pretty fast.
n> Is that a client-server configuration for TS4?
n> That would probably be of interest to many people - only one server to

n> How do you make that work?
n> Do you use the client server software from traders-soft.com?
i think this method could be accomplished also. i'm a model builder
not a hardware - software specialist.
n> Thanks
