I am trying to get a rough approximation of the relation between SPX, INDU
and NDX, just to use as a heuristic during the day.
I heard an analyst say that technology stocks represent 19% of the SP500
value. Let's roughly equate that with NDX stocks, even though it's not
exactly correct.
Dowe anybody know what proportion INDU (DJIA) stocks might represent in the
SP500? I expect something greater than 19%, perhaps 40-50%. Again, I know
INDU is not weighted and SPX is weighted, I just want a rough idea.
