Using TS4, I'd like to plot the VIX and the SPX on the same chart, one
overlapping the other. Since the VIX's last close was 26.47, and the SPX's
was 1215.02, in TS4 placing them both on the same chart means the SPX plot
is way up at the top of the chart and the VIX's way down at the bottom.
Setting the VIX's scaling as "user defined" with a range of 130.00 to 10.00
should do it, but TS4 seems to ignore or override this user defined scaling.
Is there a way to trick this problem?
If there is, perhaps there is also a way to create the kind of chart that
compares a number of data streams(let's say 5 or 6 market sectors) where
they all start at the same point on the left side of the chart and proceed
to form their individual patterns across the chart with all plots under the
same general scaling, so they are also overlapping.
Any ideas?
