importing Metastock data files into Global Server symbol portfolio

I am newbie to TS2000i and have probably a naive
question. I use Equis Downloader to get EOD data. 
To import it in Global Server symbol portfolio i have
to click in the list of symbols symbol by symbol and
go through File->Import Data->Metastock Format for
each symbol.

Does anyone know a way to automate it for example
1) is there a way to create data files in omega format
with the downloader
2) if not maybe there is a conversion program that
will create omega format files from metastock files
for many symbols at once
3)maybe there is an easy way out and there is a way to
import a set of data for different symbols into Global
Server from Metastock files


I'd appreciate any help
