Jim:
I use BMI satellite data and when I am trading I also monitor the E-mini on
Quote.com because of the time difference. What I see is that the difference
between the two varies all the time. Normally Quote.com is about 4 seconds
ahead of the BMI satellite feed, sometimes as much as 8 seconds. But
surprisingly, there are times when they are almost the same, and there are
also times when Quote.com is 2-5 minutes behind. I've seen this variation
enough times that I'm not sure I would want to use Quote.com as my only data
feed. What I am watching is the free streaming realtime Nasdaq Live Charts,
so it's possible that the paid subscribers get sometime different and more
reliable.
