Re: 15" LCD and Tradestation?

Folks,

I think where you are trying to go with this is,

"Is a .29 pixel size small enough to display enough bars for trading
effectively?" Pixel size and the resolution setting of the display affect
the number of bars you can display on the chart.

Assuming you are using the same size bars and spacing, you will get many
more bars on a screen with a .19 pixel size than you will with a pixel size
of .29, because the display can run at a higher resolution. I think you need
at least a screen resolution of 1600*1200 for any realistic screen real
estate, so if you are going to go with an LCD that sort of limits the
choices to the high priced models anyway.

A 15 inch LCD display with a pixel size of .29 running at 800 * 600 may be
very clear visually, but would be a pretty poor choice for a trading display
unless you were using three or four of them. Even then I'd rather have one
20 inch display running at 1800 * 1400 than 4 little ones running at 800 *
600.

Just my 2 Cents,
Dale
