Barry,
I just got back into town and so have just read your post to the Omega List.
The Tick Days setting (in your case 500) will cause tick data in excess of
500 days old to be deleted whenever either Morning Update or my Unfrag
utility is run. This may be a little misleading because TS4 only counts
days when tick data was actually received - therefore if your symbols have
less than 500 days of data then no data would ever be deleted by either TS4
Morning Update or my Unfrag utility. Morning Update would however mark
contracts as expired as necessary. If deletion of old data is desired, my
Unfrag utility does have capability using the command line arguments
DaysBack=xxxx or OldestDate=yyyy/mm/dd.
