Commisions as percentages

Hello List,

Is there a way to switch over from commisions in dollar or point terms and into price percentages?

I'm trying to test a system on DJIA daily data going back to 1928, when it was 200 points or so, so I'm helpless without percentage
commisions. I guess the way to go would be to code percentage commisions right into the system? No other way? Please help.
