Now I am wondering, is the e-signal data on this ftp
site the same as the historybank.com data? It seems
so (both having same gaps, etc.). Have any of you
 ever confirmed this?

Jack,

There are some clear differences between the data available from the 2
sources. The omegresearch site, for example, has advance and decline data
while historybank.com does not. More correctly, if it IS there I haven't
found it yet. Also historybank has continuous contract (futures) daily data
and the omega site does not. There are, I would bet, other differences but
these are ones I have noted.
